Privacy Policy and Data Protection

PRX Fitness guarantees the protection and confidentiality of data provided by users, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD)[3]. The conditions applicable to personal data processing are detailed below.

Data Controller

The data controller is PRX Fitness. For any questions related to data, you can contact us at:
Email: contact@prxfitness.com.

Collected Data and Purpose

The platform voluntarily collects the following data through the pre-registration form: name, email, and user type (professional, sportsperson, or company). In the case of professional users, a photo, experience information, and rate will also be requested.

The purpose of the processing is to manage pre-registration and send updated information about the development of the future PRX Fitness platform. Data will not be used for purposes other than these without obtaining additional consent.

Commercial Communications

In compliance with the LSSI (Law 34/2002), it is reported that by filling out the pre-registration form, the user grants their express consent to receive electronic communications regarding the launch, news, and promotions of PRX Fitness. The user may revoke this consent at any time through the "unsubscribe" link present in each email or by contacting contact@prxfitness.com.

Legal Basis for Processing

The legal basis for processing is the user's explicit consent when submitting their data. Such consent is given by checking the corresponding box on the form. The user can withdraw their consent at any time, although this will not affect the processing carried out previously. [6]

Data Retention

Personal data will be kept only as long as necessary for the indicated purposes (informing about the project and managing pre-registration) and during the legal periods for prescription of responsibilities. Once the purpose has been fulfilled or said period has elapsed, the data will be blocked and, subsequently, deleted with appropriate security guarantees.

User Rights

The GDPR grants data subjects various rights that PRX Fitness is committed to facilitating. Specifically, users can exercise the following rights:

  • Access: obtain confirmation as to whether their data is being processed and access it.
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion ("right to be forgotten"): request the deletion of their data when it is no longer necessary.
  • Limitation: restrict the processing of their data in certain cases.
  • Portability: receive their data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Opposition: object to the processing of their data for personal reasons.
  • Automation: object to being subject to automated decisions or profiling.

To exercise any of these rights, the user can send a written request (by post or email) to PRX Fitness contact@prxfitness.com, clearly indicating the right they wish to exercise and attaching a copy of their ID or other identifying document. In addition, if they believe their rights have not been respected, they can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Data Recipients

Personal data will not be ceded to third parties unless legally obliged. However, for the operation of the platform (hosting, web analytics), PRX Fitness may rely on service providers acting as data processors (e.g., Google Analytics). In the event that these providers are located outside the European Economic Area, transfers will be based on adherence to the Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, ensuring an adequate level of protection.[8][6]

Security Measures

PRX Fitness adopts appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security and prevent unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or undue disclosure. Among others, encryption protocols are applied in the transmission of sensitive data, access to personal information is restricted, and backups are maintained. However, the user must be aware that absolute security on the Internet does not exist and collaborate by avoiding risky practices.

Cookies and Web Analytics

This landing page uses its own and third-party cookies for analysis purposes. In particular, we use analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics and Hotjar) to understand traffic in an aggregated way and improve the user experience. These cookies do not collect personally identifiable data, but navigation parameters. The installation of these cookies is subject to the user's prior consent. Additional information on the use of cookies and the possibility of deactivating them is offered in the site's cookie policy.

Additional Information

  • Profiling: PRX Fitness informs that it does not carry out user profiling or make automated decisions based on the data provided.
  • Parental Consent: If the user is a minor (16 years or older, depending on applicable regulations), the processing of their data on this site is based on their consent, and in case of being younger than that age we would require parental consent in accordance with the GDPR. However, since the platform is not aimed at minors, we recommend parents supervise their children's use of the Internet.

For any questions or requests related to data protection, you can contact PRX Fitness at the email mentioned. PRX Fitness adheres to the principle of proactive responsibility and scrupulously complies with the provisions of the GDPR and the LOPDGDD.
